I agree that standing alone it seem...Hi Anonymous,

I agree that standing alone it seems that my position would be that a one one-eyed albino shark means it is the end time. LOL, that would be crazy to believe. I frequently say on this blog that one sign does not an end time make. There are three exceptions to this position: The formation of Israel in one day was exactly prophesied by Isaiah and fulfilled exactly. That was huge. Secondly, the destruction of Damasascus in one night. It has never been destroyed the way the bible in Isaiah 17:1 foretells, so that would be very telling when it happens. Last, the rapture itself, a unique event in all time. Those three were and will be clear end time signs, stand-alone signs that Jesus return is near.

here is my position:

The end time is the *totality* of signs. The signs would begin and they would accelerate as we get to the end. Do you think this world looks the way it did at the time of Adam and Eve before the Fall? Certainly not. From the moment of Jesus' ascension to the clouds to the moment He calls His church up to Him in the rapture is the end time. However, Jesus said that the time would be as birth pangs. The gestation is long, and the labor pains also take place over a period of time. The speed and intensity of the totality of the prophesied signs are heating up, indicating last moments of the church age are here.

Secondly, the bible says that since the fall of man into sin, the world has been degrading and decaying.

"We know that the whole creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time." (Romans 8:22)

"For the creation was subjected to frustration, not by its own choice, but by the will of the one who subjected it, in hope that the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the glorious freedom of the children of God. 22 We know that the whole creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time." (Romans 8:20-22).

A cyclops albino shark was not on God's original agenda. It was formed due to decaying oceans, chemicals, corruption in the world.

To your last point: you THINK we use religion to look down on others, but it is not so. There are false religionists who do that, yes. There are bad apples in every group. There are good and bad apples in the atheist group, too.

But: Christians who have repented and who have called on Jesus to forgive their sins know more than any other people on the face of the earth exactly how low we are because of sin; and are in fact commanded to look UP to others in service and in humility.Elizabeth Pratahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04341086233512507156noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2736720231951988221.post-86709064982026220442011-10-26T01:29:23.778-04:002011-10-26T01:29:23.778-04:00Your blog post is a good read except for this line...Your blog post is a good read except for this line.

"The thing that gets me is the level of sin in the world is so corrupting that God's creation doesn't even look like itself any more."

I don't understand why you think the appearance of this one-eyed albino shark is caused by the level of sin in this world. I am not religious like you seem to be but I think if there really is a God, He must have created this shark and He would not be looking down at any creature because of its appearance.

The thing that gets me is the fact that people like you use religion to look down on others.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2736720231951988221.post-47752592992771090852011-10-20T14:56:42.477-04:002011-10-20T14:56:42.477-04:00What the hot mess is that! The only thing that was different was the radiation that had been released from fukushima as result of damage from the earthquake. I am sending a link to a gentleman who has been updating the situation there since the accident occurred.
fairewinds.com/content/new-tepco-photographs-substantiate-significant-damage-fukushima-unit-3Jeffhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05171219693651832856noreply@blogger.com
