Lately, I do not think that percentage is as high these days, but it is true that the ISS is something that people do not normally think about as an entity that can be the explanation. Spaceweather.com often shows great photos of amateurs capturing the station at night or even during the day as a bright spot or a flare.

However, I also notice that many of the photos and videos show the suspected UFO's at an extremely low altitude, where such low-flying aerial craft would not normally be and certainly not where the ISS flies.Elizabeth Pratahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04341086233512507156noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2736720231951988221.post-22899185568402157852011-08-27T16:18:54.368-04:002011-08-27T16:18:54.368-04:00I haven't read your post yet, but tonight here...I haven't read your post yet, but tonight here in Ukraine, when we left our team mate's house, I happened to look up like I always do to see the stars. There was a bright light, not blinking, speeding across the sky! "Look!" I said, "A satelite!" And my husband answered, "That's too big to be a satelite." Oh yeah, that's true! It must be .... ta dah! If it's not a satelite and it's not a star or planet or plane it must be a UFO, right? NO - it was the ISS - the International Space Station. My first thought was - how many people see that thing flying up there through space, reflecting the sun at certain times, at other times even 'flaring' and they report it as a UFO? Probably happens more often than we think. I thought of you immediately and wondered if you'd ever written about this subject. Voila! Get home and here it is!

By the way, NASA has a website where you can look up exactly where the ISS is at any time, day or night, and then go out when it's visible over your area and see it. Kind of amazing, really. Most things have a logical explanation if a person only searches for it.

Now, back to the top to read your post.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2736720231951988221.post-92094945158861965752011-08-27T14:20:01.835-04:002011-08-27T14:20:01.835-04:00Gary Bates has a website thru which one can order ...Gary Bates has a website thru which one can order the book. I highly recommend Gary Bates' "Alien Intrusion: UFOs and the Evolution Connection."Glenn E. Chatfieldhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04117405535707961903noreply@blogger.com
