This issue of submission I was discussing over the past week with a woman older than me, and her thoughts tie in nicely with your essay. She said that we can pray for our husbands to be submissive to the Lord. After giving that a try it was awesome how God created a change in my heart to want to be more submissive and an increased desire to serve and put his needs before my own. My friend reminded me that our sons are watching to see how a wife should treat her husband. This motivated me, too.
