It is an old saying that is a summary of the 26 verses of Isaiah 3.

"When the power of Satan is at its height in the world your leaders shall have the minds of children and women shall control them".Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2736720231951988221.post-18679077552894290722011-07-13T20:27:13.505-04:002011-07-13T20:27:13.505-04:00Feminism is most certainly a bond to break. But here is another ...OK, good point about Hillary. But here is another thought. I think a feminist would assess conditions, order her priorities, and choose the path she wants. She decided to stay withe her man because she could get further with him that without him. Otherwise, why would she stay? If forgiving him wasn't part of the picture, I mean.

As for Palin, I'm not going to debate it. She was Mayor, Governor, VP candidate, runs a successful business, and hauls in millions for speeches. No dummy does that. The point is, Feminists failed her. Distancing themselves from her because she is (allegedly) stupid? Shame. I thought feminism was about equality. But only for the smart, I see.Elizabeth Pratahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04341086233512507156noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2736720231951988221.post-9852827312957665412011-07-13T16:16:32.820-04:002011-07-13T16:16:32.820-04:00You are right, it is better to forgive for those o...You are right, it is better to forgive for those of us who are with Christ.

But, your point was that she is a "feminism poster child" and not that she is a "christian poster child" and I was just pointing out that it is incorrect. I am not debating the laws of the Bible or indicating my own understanding of the love of Jesus, I am pointing out the opinions of feminists.

and also, when it comes to Sarah Palin who cannot debate politics without a man sitting next to her, can't say what newspapers she reads to stay informed, and didn't realize that Africa is a country, do you really wonder why feminists do not like her? really?

-Anonymous 3:39Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2736720231951988221.post-19403203910619803932011-07-13T15:50:16.688-04:002011-07-13T15:50:16.688-04:00Anonymous 3:36:

And they will not be broken by usurping His order.

I agree, women who make certain choices should not be judged. All too often, though, feminists judge harshly and loudly, decrying one housewife's choice while lauding another's professional career that take a mother away from her newborn for 18 hours a day. Bad stuff.

Feminism isn't a threat. God is not threatened by any of humankind's constructs. He will simply judge them. He will judge all people who participated in them, too.

Anonymous 3:39:
She forgave him. She took the higher path: of forgiveness and of honoring the vows that she spoke at her wedding. The lesser path is bailing out at your own whim.

See, your comment is indicative of someone who doesn't understand the love of Jesus. His Love- and by extension ours- is not based on how the person acts. It is unconditional. So Bill failed morally. How do we know there weren't times she failed morally that Bill forgave her for?Elizabeth Pratahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04341086233512507156noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2736720231951988221.post-43780721851169422922011-07-13T15:39:02.625-04:002011-07-13T15:39:02.625-04:00Hillary is a disgrace to feminists. It is freedom and equality. There are certainly ways to interpret it as a threat, but as with any ideology, the definition and purpose is what you make of it.

Of course it may upset some people when one woman is a housewife and another is a CEO without children, due to human nature of comparison. but, when you judge someone, you have no time to love them.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2736720231951988221.post-36445092494699982502011-07-13T13:15:16.761-04:002011-07-13T13:15:16.761-04:00The bonds of feminism have been so hard to break f...The bonds of feminism have been so hard to break for me. I still feel resentment from certain people in my life that I chose to stay home and be a mom and wife full-time (for now) instead of sticking with a lucrative career that would have ruined my family. It does bring on the guilt at times.Emilyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18108533874121226153noreply@blogger.com
