But lots of people don't share, sadly.Elizabeth Pratahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04341086233512507156noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2736720231951988221.post-74952599236216431132011-03-31T19:19:47.506-04:002011-03-31T19:19:47.506-04:00Cool post and nice and light from the last bit of ...Cool post and nice and light from the last bit of news. :)

Just over a year ago my 91 year old father fell and banged his head so I jumped on the next plane out east to be with him in the hospital and ended up staying 10 days with him. He was not coherent but I ministered to him and made sure the nurses didn't neglect him just because he was an old man possibly dying. Well on morning my brother came to keep me company so I headed to Timmy's and grabbed a couple of extra large coffees for us. As I was heading to the elevator I was pondering how I was going to push the button to summon the elevator. Around a corner came this little chubby man in a tweet suite with a big nose and an old style hat reminding me of someone from C.S. Lewis' days. He pushed the elevator call button and then walked into the elevator with me after it arrived. He proceeded to ask me, "4th floor, right?" I replied, "yes thank you." The whole while I was thinking how did he know which floor I needed. Is he an angel? I was tongue tied and couldn't speak. I got off on my floor and the doors closed and I was struck with he never pushed a button for himself, just my floor and he never got off the elevator when I left. I started praising God and thanking Him for this wonderful gift. I knew God was in the hospital but I never imagined He would let me see an angel! Well I thought this meant dad will live, you see I was fasting and praying asking God to spare me my dad but 2 days later dad passed away. He was peaceful and very content looking.

What a gift! I pray often for the angels around us. Asking God to strengthen them. Next time if I see someone questionable I am going to ask them if they are an angel and just hope and pray they don't put me in the physic ward. :)

Blessings,
<><child of Godhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11635805396738062444noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2736720231951988221.post-87374543517362563762011-03-31T18:44:00.793-04:002011-03-31T18:44:00.793-04:00This was beautiful!
