However, we might also be advised to look a LITTLE less towards the literal sun, moon, and stars, to focus on the sun, moon, and stars, within the political heavens of Israel, with ref to the time of Yacov's trouble (Dan12)! The political heavens, will suffer their very own version of an earthquake, in the day of the Lord, when satan and its beast empire, shall fall like lightening from the lofty heights of the terrestrial heavens. But yes, the terrestrial events may be accompanied by celestial ones too! This will be helpful for cautioning my friend about believing Hagee's books.

But as you pointed out (above): Hagee believes he knows when things are about to change. The exciting "news" and the offer of "insider" information is why "Four Blood Moons," and other such books, will sell so many copies.

I hope many people read your posts about "Four Blood Moons" (and your blog) and follow your frequent encouragements to study God's Word carefully.
-- AndreaC Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2736720231951988221.post-74439649528556655572013-10-14T05:48:56.134-04:002013-10-14T05:48:56.134-04:00Hi AndreaC,

I find also that other women in other churches give books to friends in our conservative Southern Baptist Church and that's one of the ways false doctrine gets in. Now I can be better prepared to answer my friend when she asks me about this.
My friend is a conservative Baptist, and her church seems careful about most biblical doctrines. But another Charismatic aquaintance shares these "prophesy" books with her, and she gets really wound up (emotionally) and doctrinally confused in her understanding.
That's how the ladies at my biblically-conservative, expository-preaching Reformed church get such bad-doctrine books, too -- shared through undiscerning friends from other churches.
On the upside, I can share your biblical arguments with my friend and she will listen (at least) because she rightly values the Bible's authority.
I suppose there will be no end to the publishing of such misleading books until the Lord returns. So we pray, come Lord Jesus!
-- AndreaC
Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
