Humans playing God has always angered God

First Extinct-Animal Clone Created
An extinct animal has been resurrected by cloning for the first time—though the clone died minutes after birth. Findings revealed January 23 in the journal Theriogenology describe the use of frozen skin in 2003 to clone a bucardo, or Pyrenean ibex, a subspecies of Spanish ibex that went extinct in 2000. Scientists had cloned endangered species before, but not one that had officially died out. "We will try to improve the technology in order to increase the efficiency of the cloning process."

Russian Scientists Create Goat-Humans That Produce Human Breast Milk
Scientists are genetically engineering goats to produce the same milk as a human mother. They claim the breakthrough will allow babies whose mothers can't feed them to receive all the goodness of breast milk. Researchers behind the experiments reject fears of Dr Frankenstein-style tinkering with nature.

Florida couple pays $155,000 for cloned puppy
A couple from Boca Raton, FL reports that they have purchased the first single-birth, commercially cloned puppy in the United States. BioArts International created a genetic clone of Nina and Edgar Ott's deceased yellow lab, Lancelot. The Otts believed that genetic cloning would someday be possible and had their lab's DNA collected, and frozen, 5 years ago.

Pill to erase bad memories: Ethical furore over drugs 'that threaten human identity'
A drug which appears to erase painful memories has been developed by scientists. The astonishing treatment could help sufferers of post-traumatic stress disorder and those whose lives are plagued by hurtful recurrent memories. But British experts said the breakthrough raises disturbing ethical questions about what makes us human.

Genesis 1:27: So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.

God created the heavens and the earth and all the animals and creeping things, and He made man and woman. What He made was perfect, God Himself judged it good and very good.

The good didn't last long, not with satan around: Genesis 6:5: "Then the LORD saw that the wickedness of man was great on the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually." So He sent the flood.

Not only didn't the good last long, but it came back powerful after the flood, when man began to equate himself with God:

Genesis 11:4: "Come, let us build for ourselves a city, and a tower whose top will reach into heaven, and let us make for ourselves a name," [and they built the Tower of Babel...]

Which God judged wrathfully.

Over and over again there are biblical examples of God's judgment of man's vain attempts to replace Him. Cloning, and identity manipulation at the soul level are yet more examples of man's vain attempts to play God. Let's leave the creating to Him, shall we? God said that as it was in the days of Noah so shall it be at the coming of the Son of Man. As it was at the days of Lot, so shall it be at the coming of the Son of Man.

And so shall it be!
