At time 4:45 Obama says "To those who seek peace and security, we support you"
1 Thessalonians 5:3
"The day of the Lord comes as a thief in the night. For while they are saying, "Peace and safety!" then destruction will come upon them suddenly like labor pains upon a woman with child, and they will not escape."
A comment from someone on the Rapture Ready thread 'Peace and Safety':
"I was reading our MacArthur study Bible tonight, and ran into something that I found thought-provoking."
"I Thess. 5:2,3 ...the day of the Lord comes as a thief in the night. For when they say, "peace and safety!" then sudden destruction comes upon them..."
"MacArthur interprets this as: "Just as false prophets of old fraudulently forecast a bright future, in spite of the imminence of God's judgment (Jer.6:14, 8:11,14:13-14; Lam.2:14; Ezek. 13:10,16; Mic. 3:5) so they will again in future days just before the final Day of the Lord destruction."
"We assume that at the end of the trib. nobody will be saying "peace and safety" just before Jesus' return - it will be a horrible time. So this would seem to apply to the rapture. I know many on this board have discussed that the rapture won't occur until people feel we're in a time of "peace and safety". MacArthur is saying that this is a time when false teachers are just saying it's a time of peace and safety."
Understanding end time prophecy is more important than ever!
If you are interested in how this narrator goes through the scriptures to show that Obama is a witch, seducer and spiritist (when he says "Let us summon a new spirit" it doesn't help the case...), part one to this 10 minute video explanation is here. The man narrating is low-key, even slow, but please stick with it, the evidence is compelling when he breaks down the language slowly and logically and balances it against the scriptures. I found it illuminating!

peace and safety, & peace and security are (2) different terms to not make the mistake of getting confused. peace & security "does NOT" mean a single thing, BUT... when they shall say peace and safety, we won't be here!!! Praise GOD. thank you Jesus... AMEN {Anointed~#1}
ReplyDeleteAnonymous, the various translations translate the phrase in 1 Thess 'peace and safety' OR 'peace and security'. The Greek word for safety is aspháleia, and it is defined: "Definition: safety, security, reliability, firmness." You can look up the Greek here:

The words Safety and security are interchangeable because as it is used in the verse, it means the same thing. I agree,we will not be here.
I belive that when they say peace and safty the lord will in that second will take the true christans praise the lord for that glory day.
