As the article below sums it up, "Clearly, the scriptures that Pastor Hagee says refer to red moons are not the result of lunar eclipses. Instead, these verses describe cosmic phenomena that tell of the moon turning red or being darkened because of comets falling and putting so much dust into the atmosphere that even the sun will be darkened. These verses tell of impact events that are to take place in the last stages of the Tribulation Period as described in the Fifth, Sixth, and Seventh Trumpet, and the Seventh Vial of the Book of Revelation. (Also, see Isaiah 13:5-13 and Isaiah 34:4)."
Keep reading the link below to see exactly why the four blood moons may be astronomically interesting, but in no way are prophetically interesting, nor are they related to any prophecy of the bible. (Correctly interpreted prophecy of the bible, that is).
Four Blood Moons
"Bottom line: the four blood red moons caused by solar eclipse that are to occur in 2014-2015 do not constitute signs of important prophetic events that will soon take place."

You're right. Every time Blood Moon Tetrads have taken place, they have been followed by events that affected the land of Israel, Jews, and other tribes of Israel. These blood moon tetrads have never signified anything affecting Christians. So, yes, they signify nothing of importance... to Christians.
ReplyDeletePastor Hagee did take the original information from pastor Mark Biltz - but on Biltz's sight he warns that this "Tetrad" is NOT a harbinger of end-time Revelation events but a possible warning to Israel about negative events happening to them as it has in the past. Hagee is using the event for his own ,shall I say, agenda. Sad indeed
DeleteJohn Hagee has a book I believe In Defense Of Israel, he states that Jesus was not the Messiah. This makes him a false teacher to be rejected.

I want to know this book where slander could be charged and now libel for righting it as fact with no evidence none not even a book name.chapter or verse.
DeleteIf you follow NASA in 2014-2015 there will be 4 lunar eclipse blood red moon with a full soler eclipse which we had a couple weeks ago two lunar eclipse have all ready occurred just as Hagee said two more to go.NASA has the dates this is fact.
DeleteRoger: In response to your two comments, first, here is a link in which the charge that Hagee describes Jesus as something other than Messiah is discussed, https://carm.org/john-hagee-denies-jesus-claimed-to-be-the-messiah. The review of his book describes in quotations where Hagee most assuredly did say that. With page numbers.
DeleteSecondly, NASA of course has the facts that there will be lunar eclipses. Whether these regularly occurring eclipses which are usually also red has anything to do with Jesus' return is what we are discussing. While NASA's scientific facts are correct, Hagee's facts regarding the spiritual aspects are incorrect.
If you mean tetrads where all four eclipses occurred on Passover and Sukkot, then no, only the last three times (1493-1494 / 1949-1950 / 1967-1968) corresponded to major events for Israel, and the Blood Moons *followed* the events (except for a six-week head start in 1967).
ReplyDeleteThe first four feast-day tetrads that occurred since the birth of Christ (162-163 / 795-796 / 842-843 / 860-861) really don't correspond to anything significant with Israel. (I've seen people strain mightily to remedy that, but it's a stretch.)
In spite of all the wild-eyed speculation tempered by steely-eyed derision (much of both coming from people who haven't done a thimbleful of homework), I do believe the Blood Moons portend something significant for Israel, and I personally believe it may involve the Temple Mount. Call me a 'lunatic', but I have my reasons. If I'm wrong, trust me. I won't lose a minute's sleep over it.
The real question in my mind, though, is who on earth needs these Blood Moons?
If you need Blood Moons on Jewish Holy Days to tell you that something of prophetic significance is about to happen in regard to Israel, you haven't studied the Word enough and you aren't paying enough attention to what's going on.
We don't need Blood Moons to know it's time to dig deep in our walk with the Lord and be about our Father's business. And who knows...we may not be here to see all four of these eclipses anyway.
Wouldn't break my heart, and I'm guessing it wouldn't break yours.
If you really want to believe Haggee on this at least ask him the question, "Will these blood moons be seen from Israel, or the European/African continent even?" The first was seen by a total of 2 northern countries for a total of 50,000 people. It just so happened to be overcast, so even they couldn't see them. Would this be a harbinger from God? To Christians and nations in the middle east? Also, of course they fall on feast days, Israel followed a LUNAR calendar.
