We are NOT the ones we have been waiting for...

Christians are waiting for the return of Jesus. The unsaved are waiting for ... themselves?

You might remember a famous line in one of Obama's thousands of speeches. This one was from February of 2008 in Chicago during the 2008 Presidential campaign.

"Change will not come if we wait for some other person...or if we wait for some other time. We are the ones we've been waiting for."

Kind of takes on new meaning now doesn't it? But did you know that the famous line he delivered was really a Hopi proverb?

This is the last few lines from a Hopi Prophecy and Message from 'The Elders Oraibi Arizona Hopi Nation':

The time of the lone wolf is over. Gather yourselves!
Banish the word struggle from your attitude and your vocabulary.
All that we do now must be done in a sacred manner and in celebration.
We are the ones we've been waiting for.

Obama ripped the line off. So two years on, now that the waiting is over, are we all we're cracked up to be? Was the wait worth it? No? Lol. Well, these New Age folks are still waiting. They are hoping that the arrival of themselves will occur at the Conscious Convergence beginning today:

"We are, like the Hopi have said, the ones we have been waiting for! We are it."

Or this person:

"It is time to wake up to the realization that something outside of ourselves is not going to take care of or make something happen. We are the ones."

Well they are wrong. Something (someONE, rather) is going to make something happen. And that something is judgment, punishment for refusing Him, His Word, His Son, His truth that He is supreme. Christians who are waiting for Him will receive a crown. Unbelievers who are waiting for themselves to arrive will discover that eternity of waiting is a very long time. It is written:

"But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God— having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with them." (2 Timothy 3:1-5)

"Converge" away, but you do so in unconsciousness of what you are doing and allowing into our mind! And at risk of our soul, forever. Turn from the self to look upon the Holy One who forgives, Who is patient! Who loves with a depth that no man can understand! He is Holy and Just, and for the saved, He is Mercy and Grace! As long as you are alive and drawing breath you can still accept that Jesus is the One you have been waiting for!
