What do Muslims believe about the end of the age?

Did you know that Islam has an eschatology (doctrine of the end of days)? It does. And though many religions have nothing to do with Christianity, there are religions that intersect Christianity. Islam is one of those.

Jesus actually plays a critical role in Muslim end time theologies. The following is a synopsis from John MacArthur. He is preaching through the book of Mark and he is up to Mark's version of the Olivet Discourse, the end of days answer that Jesus gave to the disciples. The title of the sermon is "The Grim Reality of the Last Days" and MacArthur is preaching on Mark 13:1-13. You can listen, read, or download for free the entire sermon, here.

The information MacArthur uses in the sermon is taken from the Quran, which to a Muslim are the holy words from Allah (Satan), and the Sunnah, the Muslim tradition as expressed by Muhammad. Sunnah is also known as Hadith. These are the two sources of authoritative truth for the Muslim.

To the Muslims, Jesus was a man, and a prophet. He did not die. He was taken to heaven, alive, like Elijah, where He stands beside Allah. If he did not die, He did not rise, and therefore never provided an atonement for anyone. He is waiting for Allah to send Him back to earth. When He returns from heaven according to the Muslims, Jesus' main role in the end times is to correct all the Christians who have misunderstood who He is and what His role is. He will correct them, saying that He never paid for their sins. Then Jesus will get married, have children, and die, to be buried next to Muhammad. That is the Muslim Jesus. So you can see for yourself that we have NO COMMON GROUND with Muslims.

There are three great signs for the Muslims that signal the end of time. Each of these signs will be a man. The first is the arrival of the Final Mahdi (12th Imam). The Mahdi is coming to slaughter all who will not worship Allah and will not covert to Islam. The Quran calls these people who refuse to worship Allah "pigs and dogs." Mahdi's final task is to establish the world dominating Kingdom of Islam.

The Mahdi is their long-awaited savior. Their Messiah. He will establish the final Caliphate. He will destroy all enemies of Islam, in a bloody global holy war. He will have an army, a massive one, going from nation to nation, to punish unbelievers. This army will carry black flags. This flag has on it one word, "Punishment." They go to Israel, and establish his rule on the Temple Mount. All will then prosper, and all worship the Mahdi and they speak of no one else but him. He will make a peace agreement with the Jews and the West for 7 years. The reign of Mahdi lasts 7 years, in which he establishes Islam. He will come riding a white horse and their own writings quote Revelation 6:1-2 as the rider on the white horse carrying a bow. They say that the Jews and the Christians' writings were all wrong and secret scriptures will be revealed to the Mahdi after he gets here that will validate this point of view.

So to sum up, the 12th Imam, or Final Mahdi, will be a great leader, coming on a white horse, a messianic figure, unparalleled leader, out of a crisis of turmoil, establish a new world order, invade many nations, make a peace treaty with the Jews, establish a false religion at Jerusalem, kill non-worshipers, and rule for 7 years.

It is a precise description of the biblical antichrist. The bible's antichrist is Islam's savior.

The second Muslim sign is in the person of Jesus. They believe Jesus will return. Jesus, (not the true Jesus, their version of Jesus) returns as a prophet, assisting the Mahdi. He establishes Islam worldwide and corrects all misinterpretations. "He will shatter crosses," their writings state, which is a metaphor for destroying Christians and churches. That is a quote from Quran. He will be the Mahdi's executioner. This sign in the form of a person matches up with what the False Prophet does as an aider and abettor of the antichrist.

The third sign in the form of a person is someone known as Daijahl who is a great deceiver. This person is an infidel who is blind in one eye, returns to earth on a mule. He is a false miracle worker claiming to be Jesus Son of God, deity, who attempts to stop the Mahdi and Islam's Jesus. He is really our Jesus, and the one eyed deceiver on a mule is their view of Him!

"Every Messenger of God did warn  his nation about the trials of Dajjal. God, however, delayed Dajjal’s birth and did not let him appear until now. Be aware! he will claim to be God and try to create doubts in your minds. Have a firm belief, the one-eyed creature cannot be your Lord. He will come out riding on a 'donkey', which will have a distance of one mile between its two ears. He will claim to have come with the gifts of paradise and arsenal of hell." [Essence of Life, A translation of Ain al-Hayat by Allama Mohammad Baqir Majlisi. Qum: Ansarian Publications. p. 103.]

We know the TRUE end of the story, Jesus the Savior who died on the Cross will banish sin and establish a holy kingdom! You see how carefully and scrupulously satan has copied the truth.

Many Muslims would like to re-establish the Caliphate. According to Hadith the Caliphate will be followed by the arrival of the Imam Mahdi. I was accused in the earlier posting on the Caliphate of fear-mongering. I hope this information illustrates that for the lost, there is much to fear. Christians never have anything to fear if we are covered under the blood of the Spotless One who died for us. So where is the fear, if you are a Christian? Absent. Where is the fear if you are not a Christian? Legitimate.

Islam is something to fear because it was written by the greatest deceiver the universe has ever known, and it will be carried out by the deepest evil the world will ever see. It is important to know the facts. But know this, the end shall come, and the words of the martyrs will be a testimony for the Lord's name and He will establish His righteous kingdom and will reign FOREVER!

  4. Kafir (Arabic: كافر kāfir; plural كفّار kuffār) is an Arabic term used in a Islamic doctrinal sense, usually translated as "unbeliever" or "disbeliever". The term refers to a person who rejects God or who hides, denies, or covers the "truth".

    2. it is sad to see how some people from all religions take out of context words from theirs or others holy books, conclude and condemn other faiths to be led by Satan or even worse, while his or her faith is pure and holy. This is how the believers have justified the killing of the "non-believers" for thousands of years without mercy. In 21st century , we are still debating and claiming that my religion is the only true religion and the rest of religions are sinners and are condemn to the worse punishment by God almighty in the judgement day and it is upon me (believers) to either convert or condemn anyone who is not part of my religion. All these ignorance and hatred eventually will destroy many innocent people as has happened over and over in the past. So please be kind and do not disrespect other faiths. We all must live together and make the world a better place for all of our children.

    3. Hi Timothy,

Did you ever wonder why, in the 21st century we are still debating the truth of which religion is the one which will allow us into heaven? Why? That is because debates over truth are still as relevant, and important as they were 21 centuries ago.

It is not a matter of "respecting" other faiths as it is about the truth of other faiths. Because, you see, they all can't be right. Christianity claims Jesus was God while Islam claims Jesus was not God. Wiccans and Mormons say we are the gods, and Judaism is still waiting for God. Buddhism doesn't have a God and Hinduism has too many. Only one can be true. So, it is not a matter of respecting people who believe wrongly, it is a matter of truth. Truth is always worth debating over.

If someone believed he was actually Santa Caus, or the Tooth Fairy, would it be "disrespectful" to correct him? So that he could live a happy, fulfilling life and escape from his delusion? Then, how much MORE important is is to correct someone who believes wrongly about GOD?

There IS one pure holy religion, because there is only one, pure and holy Savior who delivered us from our sins. That person is Jesus.

    1. Nothing is wrong with a white horse. I noted the fact that bin both Christian eschatology and Muslim end time doctrine that both religion's major players are said to be coming on a white horse. The first verses of Revelation 6 describe the four horsemen of the coming Apocalypse: they will be riding horses of white, black, red and a sickly kind of pale green.

There are plenty of indicators to show that both Muslim and Christian end time writings mirror each other, the white horse notwithstanding, in my opinion.

No other religion is as free from contradiction, lies and /or a capricious God as is belief on Jesus as the way to heaven. he is the Lamb that takes away the sins of the world!

I respect Jesus too much not to share the Good News that He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life, being resurrected from death which He endured to pay for our sins, and reigning from heaven. He is coming soon. Believing on His holy name and repenting of our sins gains us the inheritance of His glory. I respect THAT.

    2. Praise the Lord for you, Elizabeth Prata, who stand firm in the true faith. I went through some other religion and finally found the truth is in the gospel of Jesus Christ. I became a Christian late but my hunger for God's word during the last ten years probably equal some people's life time study. The calling of God is real. I'm so blessed to have this intimate relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ. I'm now an ordained minister serving in pastoral care to Christians and non-Christians; teaching the Bible and preaching God's Word. I've borrowed some information on this site for my theses on eschatology. I've given reference to this site. Jesus said "I am the bread of life. He who comes to me will never be thirsty...And this is the will of Him who sent me, that I shall lose none of all that He has given me, but raise them up at the last day. For my Father's will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in Him shall have eternal life, and I will raise him (her) up at the last day." John 6:35-40

    3. Dearest Ms Lee,

I praise the Lord that He extended salvation to you and you are among the brethren. I'm glad you found anything here useful to your walk with Jesus. I'm so glad you hunger for God's word! I am therefore so sorry to have to correct you at this point...

If I read your name correctly and see that you are a woman, and that if you hunger for God's word, and that if you rightly interpret His word, then you must know you are not biblically authorized to be an ordained pastor who preaches. Women are given other ministries but not preaching.

      GotQuestions puts it this way:

There is perhaps no more hotly debated issue in the church today than the issue of women serving as pastors/preachers. As a result, it is very important to not see this issue as men versus women. There are women who believe women should not serve as pastors and that the Bible places restrictions on the ministry of women, and there are men who believe women can serve as preachers and that there are no restrictions on women in ministry. This is not an issue of chauvinism or discrimination. It is an issue of biblical interpretation.

The Word of God proclaims, “A woman should learn in quietness and full submission. I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man; she must be silent” (1 Timothy 2:11-12). In the church, God assigns different roles to men and women. This is a result of the way mankind was created and the way in which sin entered the world (1 Timothy 2:13-14). God, through the apostle Paul, restricts women from serving in roles of teaching and/or having spiritual authority over men. This precludes women from serving as pastors over men, which definitely includes preaching to, teaching, and having spiritual authority." more here

  8. Hmmm, I'm not sure where you're getting your information from but to clear up some of the confusion:

    1. Many of the Muslim end-times stories don't come from Islamically reliable sources.
    2. The sequence of events you have described is not the sequence described in these sources.

Muslims consider 2 main sources for information as you mention. The first source is the Quran, which Muslims consider the infallible word of the Creator. The second source is the Hadith, which are the sayings and actions of the Prophet Mohammed as narrated by those living at his time and recorded by others (similar to the New Testament). The second source (Hadith / narrations) are then classed by varying degrees reliability, from the very reliable, to the very unreliable. Most of the anti-christ vs mahdi sayings fall into the unreliable category. The Quran mentions very little about the anti-christ and nothing about the Mahdi.

20:15 "Verily the Hour is coming - My design is to keep it hidden - for every soul to receive its reward by the measure of its Endeavour."

Secondly, the events described by the sayings occur as follows:
    - Mass corruption and wars on earth. What was forbidden will become commonplace and public.
    - There will be great fear, civil wars and widespread oppression of Muslims
    - The Mahdi will emerge during a period of change and will come to right these wrongs and return religions to their original pure state.
    - He will be able to talk to people all over the world, without the need of a postman, people will see him and hear him.
    - He will defeat the foreign armies in the Middle East from Saudi to Syria.
    - The anti-christ (Dajjal) will appear. He is described as appearing short, with crooked legs, twisted hair and have one good eye and proclaiming himself to be God.
    - The Dajjal will seemingly perform miracles but they are illusions and tricks.
    - One man will challenge him and the Dajjal will kill him and then resurrect him, and then try to kill him again but fail.
    - Dajjal will make war against Mahdi
    - Jesus will descend and slay Dajjal
    - All battles and wars end. Jesus will rule over mankind and all will flock to him in peace and safety and joy.

To sum it up, Jesus will destroy the dajjal/antichrist and rule over mankind. To me, this is very similar to the Christian view of events to come.

    2. Notice for 6000 years God has sent His loving messages to mankind. In love, God revealed his law through Moses. God knew no one will ever be able to keep all 10 commandments. There were 613 laws given......who could keep them without breaking one. The Bible clearly states, that to be in default of one law a person is guilty of breaking all 613 laws. Hence the reason Jesus had to come and die for all. All our sins (past, present and future) were nailed to the cross. Jesus came into this world as Saviour and will be returning as Judge. God does not need anyone to judge for him by killing others. Who gives humans the right to kill God's creation when the accusers themselves are guilty of living in sin. God sent His prophets with His message of PEACE, revealing to mankind the WAY to peace and happiness --- but men have rejected the message, and killed the prophets. They put to death God's Son who brought the GOOD NEWS of the KINGDOM OF GOD . They martyred Jesus' APOSTLES who went out into the world with the message of God's way of life, and GOD's RULE over our lives. The period coming, described in more than 30 different prophecies scattered through both Old and New Testaments, as THE DAY OF THE LORD, which shall lead directly into the SECOND COMING OF JESUS CHRIST, to bring us at last, WORLD PEACE. To all who believe they have to kill to help God will be among those who will surely go to hell along with the Devil and his demons.

  10. i believe you all are going to believe what you want to believe and never know a truth because the truth has been lost in time. religion is an answer for lost civilations to the questions of our making and our demise. the human mind is far too curious to leave questions unanswered even if it means creating our own answers. thus religion. so now we are left with the hatred and hostility created centuries ago by an ignorant civilization of scared human beings fighting to prove their explanation is more truthful than the others. i believe that as long as religion exists hatred will exist and there will never be a world of peace love and harmony. i believe that as long as you people believe your right and everyone else is wrong it will lead to the end of the world which is the punishment we all deserve for being so ignorant and simple minded as to believe that fictional beings will save us from our own attrocities. the world could be a beautiful place if we all spent more time helping and loving our fellow human beings and our planet and less time bickering and slandering one anothers beliefs.

    1. "Ignorant civilization" like the one that built the pyramids and the Sphinx? Pyramids we can't figure out how to build today? THAT "ignorant civilization"?

the reason for man's hostility is because they are at war with God...and each other as a result. "For we ourselves were once foolish, disobedient, led astray, slaves to various passions and pleasures, passing our days in malice and envy, hated by others and hating one another." Titus 3:3

As long as sin exists, hatred will exist. It's not religion that is the problem, it is man's adherence to false religion, and its attendant sin and evil. However Jesus said that when He establishes His kingdom we will study war no more. He is the God of peace. Isaiah 2:4

This is Misinformation. You have the structure of the scriptures correct, but the misinformation is in the details...

Allah is not Satan. Allah is the direct translation of god in Arabic. Therefore, you calling Allah satan if that's what you intended was directly calling God satan. You just said the word god in another language, one you are obviously ignorant to, but only we can take blame for that.

Jesus is an esteemed prophet. and he will return to this earth, according to the scriptures both you and I believe.. Dajjal, is the antichrist. You are quite obviously not able to interpret Quranic scriptures first hand. You got this information from a secondary source which did not accurately provide you with the message in the quran.

As far as what happens after Jesus, or Isa(Arabic name for jesus) returns, you have your beliefs, as do I mine, But InshAllah we will both receive his message when he arrives, if it so happens in our lifetimes. If not it will be our children, grandchildren, or onwards.

Hopefully this has helped some one your understand a little better... If you do not believe ME, do your own research. Refuse to live in ignorance. Do yourself justice and seek the answers. Knowledge is power.

    1. Hello,
I am glad you stopped by and read what was here. I thank you for your input. I agree, Allah is not satan, but Allah is a doctrine made up by satan.

There are many similarities between all the false religions of the world and Christianity: good works, judgment, right and wrong, sin, heaven, hell and so on.

The difference between all the false religions of the world, and Christianity, is that none of them talk about a Savior. That is because they do not have a savior.

Islam teaches that man is born sinless and gets dirty in the world. It teaches that man can become righteous again by his own works.

However Islam does not say how many works are enough to cancel out the dirt, and when it is that the balance shifts to righteous deeds canceling out wrong deeds.

With Jesus, we have assurance that His work on the cross is enough. Jesus said, "It is finished". John 19:30

Further, I have assurance that I will enter the kingdom of God after repenting of my sins and believing by faith, because of HIS work, not mine. Nothing I can do by my own power is enough to cleanse me from my wrong deeds. (Romans 3:10).

One glaring difference in Christianity versus Islam is that in Christianity, Jesus is the Son of God, come to earth to live as human, die for our sins, shedding His blood in atonement and rising again by the power of God. He will return to judge the living and the dead and to set up His kingdom forever to rule them personally as God.

Is Islam, Jesus was not the son of God, did not die on the cross, and when He returns to earth will break the cross and kill the people of the book, (Quran 4/159) then marry and die like a normal man.

Even though Islam claims that we share a kind of genetic bonding because we are both Abrahamic religions, BOTH of those Jesuses cannot be true. They are direct, polar opposites. Only one is true, and I say it is Christianity.

The niggling doubt in your mind about many deeds you need to perform for a capricious Allah, who may reject you anyway, is no religion. It is torture and a burden. Join the faith of assurance under the grace of Jesus, who atoned for sins and whose burden is light and whose yoke is easy- (Matthew 11:30) because He did the work, in Grace. "“The time has come,” he said. “The kingdom of God has come near. Repent and believe the good news!”" Mark 1:15

  13. so, if jesus is god, who was taking care of the world when he desended in form of man? if he died on the cross, who did he return to? if jesus is God, and was in human form your God, pooed and peed like all other human beings as, I am sure jesus had to use the toilet. if jesus god died for your sins....you can keep sinning...if he has died for you once...he is god...he can die for you again....so easy to use jesus as god to avoid your own responsibility of sinning... I guess if jesus your god comes back...you can nail him to the cross again so he will pay for your sins...I wonder how would you feel if you were to be nailed on the cross for another person sins! poor jesus!

    1. Hi Anonymous,

You must have read Hebrews 2:17, which says "For this reason he had to be made like them, fully human in every way, in order that he might become a merciful and faithful high priest in service to God, and that he might make atonement for the sins of the people. "

And in Hebrews 4:15, "For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin."

So yes, Jesus did poop and pee. He can even sympathize with us if we have constipation or diarrhea.

Anonymous, when Jesus died, his body was taken down from the cross and buried (John 19:38-42). While he was dead those three days no one is quite sure where He went, other than the mention in 1 Peter 3:18-20 that Jesus proclaimed His victory over death to the spirit sin the abyss, that He told the thief on the cross that today you will be with me in paradise (not heaven, that is a different place, Luke 23:43)

It is not true that 'since Jesus died for our sins we can keep on sinning.' He died to take the punishing wrath for our sins, and if we ask Him to forgive us of them, we will not have to take God's punishment for them, since Jesus already did. However non-believers who still sin WILL endure God's wrath forever. And Christians have the Holy Spirit in us who helps us to not WANT to sin.

When Jesus comes back He will not have to go on the cross again because he said "It is finished." That means He made a way to heaven, once for all. Those people who reject His offer of free entry to heaven will then be sent to hell forever and their punishment will begin. Once we are forgiven of our sins and in the body of Christ, God looks upon us as His children, justified and cleaned. It is a good place to be, and I'm eternally grateful.

  14. Elizabeth - I am glad you have found a purpose in your life, I personally believe you have been misled. I was born into a christian family and went to church every week until I was about 15, when I rebelled and argued with my father that I no longer wanted to go.

I have had years of self doubt and anguish, but have finally decided that all religion is based on fiction and delusional experiences. Both Christianity and Islam are very clever in their creation, using parts of previous religious teachings and adding their own. I believe that the human race is approximately 200,000 years old based on scientific evidence, (I am sure that you do not). Both Christians and even more so Muslims are stuck in a world that ended 2000 and 1000 years ago, unable to move forward for fear of going to Hell.

I feel angry that I was told such lies as a young boy growing up and still find it difficult to comprehend that my father (a well educated man) still believes in this nonsense. I usually don't bother trying to alter a Christians viewpoint, I realise my writing here will make no difference to your belief. But as I get older I just cannot understand how there are so many people who believe this nonsense. There are obviously good parts to any religion, loving fellow human beings with compassion and forgiveness etc, but I hope for all our sakes we can finally get rid of the superstitions dreamt up by our ancestors 2000 years ago.

    1. Anonymous,

Thank you for your comment. I 'm sorry you don't not enjoy the peace of Jesus and His grace and mercy.

You said you "went to church" but you never mentioned anything about salvation, about Jesus, or about repentance. I must consider the strong possibility that you were never saved. Going to church does not save you. If you are feeling angry that you have been "lied to" then perhaps you were never in the family of God at all.

You call it nonsense, but yet you read the blog and you comment. You wonder why so many believe. Jesus was either a lunatic, or her was who he said He was. There is too much evidence, eyewitnesses, and lasting historical and spiritual change in individuals for Him to have been a lunatic.

Jesus is not a superstition. What He came to do is seek and save the lost. The lost are those who are sinning and the wrath of God rests upon them. Because, there IS a God and there IS His anger for our sins. What do you think happens after death? We go to dust? Is this all there is? A few years of life, and then poof, we're done forever?

No..there is an after-this-life. If you repent of your sins and ask God to forgive them, He will. If you do not, then after you die you will be given your desire to remain separate from God and he will punish you for your sin-crimes against Him.

That is not superstition- it is fact.

Thank you so much. I always want to stay on the way of truth because that glorifies Jesus.

I agree, the bible is clear that women are not to preach. Women are allowed to teach other women though, or children, or with husbands at home (like Priscilla and Aquila).

  16. Your essay shows hatred towards Islam and it's teachings, and is extremely offensive if that was your aim then you have succeeded. You have obviously misinterpreted Quranic verses and used unreliable sources and hadith as the basis for your hate speech also you cannot seem to accept an overlap of religion or the fact that the verses in the Quran are similar to that in the Bible and vice versa both are words from God delivered through the messengers such as Abraham, Moses, Jesus and Muhammad. do you believe in the prophet Muhammad as Muslims believe in Jesus and the rest of the prophets? I have always wondered what Christians believe off Muhammad as you know Muslims hold Jesus in high esteem as one of the great prophets, but not god and that is the big division between Islam and Christianity as a "reliable" hadith states the Christian king of Abyssinia said in the time of the prophet when they were seeking refuge from Makkan idol worshippers who wanted to persecute them for their beliefs "We are like two beams of light, they are different, separated, but verily, no doubt, coming from the same source", it clearly states in the Quran in a verse "He, God, is One. God is eternal. He begets not, nor is He begotten. And none is like Him"

Also you have to bare in mind that the Quran is complex as is the Bible know one can fully understand their teachings we are after all only human, also a verse can have many meanings and people can interpret things differently especially when translating it to different languages and passing it down from generation to generation. you need to spend many years reading and studying profusely gathering information from various religious texts and scholars before you say things like this. it shows a slight ignorance and lack of knowledge.

Secondly the mahdi is not mentioned in the Quran it is in Hadith which can be false Hadith is written by those people (Not God) that lived around the time of Muhammad during his life and after his death there are almost like stories of that time and explanations of the Quran intended to help understand it and can also add confusion they can not be taking as the 100% truth just like Jesus had companions who wrote in his time. also the Sunnah is basically Muhammads way of life his behaviour, manners, lessons and dealings with people and is not the Hadith.

I really hope you read more about Islam from better people and can shake these beliefs you have of Islam because religion is in a bad place at the moment many people are losing faith and who can blame them all we do is argue which religion is best and try to crush each other down when we really should live in peace, as it once was. In reality as long as you worship one God and follow your religion to the book and not from blasphemous and corrupt texts and teachers, no matter your religion we all enter paradise. Amine and Amen

    1. Sir or Madam,

Thank you for coming here and for your comment. I would like to take severe issue with some of your statements, while all the time I hope you know that I love souls, while at the same time I hate evil.

Yes I hate Islam. I do not hate the people of Islam. I hate Islam because it puts forth a false god who does not exist and gives the lost a false hope of heaven. Any god or system which honors a god who competes with te One True God is evil.

You say that as it once was we were all in peace over religion, We never were in peace over religion. War broke out in heaven by satan and his angels. Satan came to earth and perverted Eve and then the rest of humankind with lies. Humans have been warring over religion ever since.

In a way, religion is the only thing worth fighting for, because it seeks to know who is the real God? Allah is not God. Allah does not exist. Allah makes no reconciliation with sinners for sin. Only Jesus did that, on the cross. Christianity has the distinction of being the only religion where God came to earth to seek and find sinners and reconcile with them, making a way for them (us) to go to heaven. Allah makes no such claim. he can't- he does not exist.

Not all enter paradise. Only those who follow Jesus, and that is not only because He is the only God but because it is through Him we sinners must go through to get there. He shed His blood to make a sacrifice and He is the way, the truth and the life. Follow holy books all you want, I follow Jesus.

    2. Allah and god are the same. Allah is the name for god in arabic. If you say there is no Allah then you say you also do not have a god. You cannot hate a religion and call for peace they do not go hand in hand. Your words controversial to yourself, you say one thing you believe in and by saying you hate completely discredits your words. You talk bad of our religion yet praise your own. You are blind much like the anti Christ by hate and disbelief. I have no intent to offend but you hide behind your own religion to harm the people of another religon. If you are a true Christian you would not talk bad about Allah or god for they are one in the same

    3. Hello Anonymous,

Allah and God are more than just a name for god in Arabic. Both have revealed themselves to men though writings. And this writing shows differences that cannot be reconciled unless one or the other is shown to be a lie. The biggest difference is that Allah claims to be one. God of the Bible is three-in-one. Therefore they both CANNOT be the same.

Read more here about the differences between "allah" and God.

    1. sikender sumar, I have indeed

      --researched Islam and Muslims
--I've read from the sources,ie the Quraan (unchanged by man), and
--I've read the Authentic Hadith (sayings, teachings, lifestyle of Prophet Muhammed

Thank you for your interest in my intellectual background and education. However the facts are what I stated already. According to Islam,

      Jesus was a man, and a prophet. He did not die. An-Nisa’ 4:172; Âl 'Imran 3:59, An-Nisa’ 4:157, An-Nisa’ 4:158, An-Nisa’ 4:159

He was taken to heaven, alive, like Elijah, where He stands beside Allah. If he did not die, (An-Nisa’ 4:158) He did not rise, and therefore never provided an atonement for anyone.

Sunan Abu Dawud, 37:4310,

That is the Muslim Jesus. So you can see for yourself that we have NO COMMON GROUND with Muslims and Muslims have NO COMMON GROUND with Christians. Only one can be true.

    2. Elizabeth, you cannot say that there is no common ground between the Jews,Christians & Muslims when the Prophet who is mentioned by Allah in the Qur'aan, even more than Muhammed is Moses ( pbut) ?
Yes we believe Jesus(pbuh)is not part of the trinity & that Allah is One & is The Sovereign One,The Lord,The Sustainer etc.
I admire the fact that you are reading & questioning the truth. The Almighty challenges us in the Qur'an to challenge the Qur'an itself.Carry on in your great pursuit & i pray that The Lord guide us all.I am just a layman in knowlege, but feel free to engage with me if ud like to know more about Islam.

  18. In the New Testament there are indeed references to women disciples and disciples' mission was to go forth into the world teaching the words of Jesus Christ. I do believe that God does call some women. Eve, for example, was created to be a HELPMATE for Adam, not to serve in a sub-servant role like a servant would be. It is archaic to believe that women should be seen and not heard. I guess tho when the end does come, or when our own personal end comes, we will know what the truth is. In the meantime, I try to live my life in a way that I hope has been pleasing to God.

  19. People have to wake up. When Adam commited sin he gave dommion over to Lucifer
The devil who then became the God of this world who has authority over ever man.
God so Loved the world that he sent his only begotten son Jesus Christ to save the world. For if thou shall confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus Christ and shall believe in thy heart God raised Jesus Christ from the dead thy shall be saved for with the heart Man believeth unto righteousness and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Jesus Christ is coming back to gather all Gods people and so forever they will be with the Lord. The devil Lucifer has a thousand years to range on this earth n the last to be distroyed is death who is the devil n he knows it so he wants to distroy as many people he can to bring with him in the pit. The devil Lucifer who is the thief he cometh to steal, kill, n distroy. Jesus Christ came that they have life, and that they have it more abundantly. People wake up this muhomid guy was born of the wrong seed and was under the influence of the devil Lucifer therefore was a very evil man.

  21. If Christians Believe In a God..Then Who Is That God? Jesus never proclaimed that he is God..And If He is The Son Of God..Then Adam Should Also Be The Son of God..Since He Has No Mother Or Father..And God Who is The Creater Knows Everything Beyond What We Can Comprehend Cannot Take A Form Of Human To Know How Human Feels..He Already Is Aware Of Every Being And Their Sufferings Since He Is The Creator.

    1. Jesus claimed to be God, several times. Read John 10:30. Here is an explanation of that verse.
      http://www.gotquestions.org/I-and-the-Father-are-one.html

Christians believe in THE God, not "a" God.

God the Creator knows all, being omniscient, knowing our sufferings but that was not the sole reason to send His Son into the world to take on flesh. It was for Jesus to live as a man, successfully living the sinless life according to the Commandments, then dying as the flesh-sacrifice for humans, atoning for our sins. He would not be an acceptable sacrifice if He did not live the perfect life without sin. Remember, the sacrifice has to be without blemish, without spot.

1 Peter 1:18-19- knowing that you were not redeemed with perishable things like silver or gold from your futile way of life inherited from your forefathers, 19but with precious blood, as of a lamb unblemished and spotless, the blood of Christ.

Moreover, Jesus absorbed God's wrath for sin unto Himself while on the cross, thereby replacing the wrath due us to Him. God exhausted His wrath for sin upon Jesus (who is sinless!) so that all we need to do is repent of our own sin, believe in Jesus as the resurrected sacrificial God-Man, and enter heaven through Him.

    3. Anonymous, the Latter Day Saints (lds.org AKA Mormons) are a cult filled with people who believe a different gospel delivered by an angel in direct disregard from what we read in Galatians 1:8. They also believe Jesus is a created being, not God, and a spirit brother of satan. Do not believe what you read on lds.org. Here is a site you can trust which shows how and why the Mormons believe falsely, just as the Muslims believe falsely. if anyone is spirit-brother, it is a Mormon and a Muslim, for they both follow the same 'god': satan.

  23. That Antichrist in christianity is not the saviour of Islam.
You forgot the fact that islam is now divided into TWO big sects/groups...
    SUNNI and SHiA(shiite).

From the Sunni point of view, The Dajjal(antichrist) will be leading an army of GREEN. And is believed to come out from Isfahan, IRAN... thats right, a SHIA nation.

Thus, the Mahdi of islam is not christian's antichrist... but PROBABLY the SHIA's MAHDI!!! Nothing to do with REAL ISLAM.
