Heaven and hell

Randy Alcorn, author of Heaven, was heard to have made the comment at a conference recently that 'for the person who eventually goes to hell, his time on earth will be looked back on as the closest he ever got to heaven; and for the person who eventually goes to heaven, earth will have been the nearest he ever got to experiencing hell.'

"When you speak of heaven let your face light up...When you speak of hell -- well, then your everyday face will do." ~ Charles Spurgeon

"The way to Heaven is ascending; we must be content to travel uphill, though it be hard and tiresome, and contrary to the natural bias of our flesh" ~ Jonathan Edwards, circa 1750

"They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat. For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes." ~ Revelation 7:16-17. Jesus, circa 90 AD

Come with me and be with Him!
