"Turkey is No Longer a Friend of Israel" Says President of Turkey

Well. My previous post on Israel and Turkey became outdated almost immediately, like, in three minutes. I had mentioned that Turkish-Israeli relationship was deteriorating fast. A series of moves an comments over the last four days by Turkey indicated that their relationship was headed south. We know that the bible says in the end the two will be enemies. Turkey joins with other countries to attack Israel in the Gog-Magog battle. Ezekiel 38-39)

Now, Euronews reports the President of Turkey saying that his nation and Israel "are no longer friends." This Euronews interview began with the contextual comment that "Turkey is transforming and developing economic and diplomatic relations with its neighbors, prompting many to talk of an axis shift. The Turkish President sat down for a candid interview with Euronews as to where the country might be heading next."

The President emphasizes that he is leading his nation toward opening up relations with many, instead of being a dead end, Turkey is now more of a crossroads. Except, that is, Israel, I note. Turkey withdrew diplomats from Israel and has adopted a harsh stance in the last few days, In this interview, the President flatly admits that any friendship between Turkey and Israel is over. So the crossroads does not extend to Jerusalem, apparently.

When the interviewer asks the Turkish President about the Gaza Flotilla incident with Israel last year, he admitted that the incident irrevocably harmed their relationship. This admission comes at about 4:16. The interviewer follows up with the question, "Is Turkey's friendship with Israel over?" and the President says, "Absolutely. Israel has lost the friendship of Turkey and of Turkish citizens."

Here is the video if you want to watch yourself. It is interesting. The interviewer goes on with asking Turkey about Iran's nuclear activity.

Turkey has the second largest military in NATO, after the US. Israel is not part of NATO. Things are lining up, folks.

  1. An attack on any NATO Member is considered an attack on all Members. O will "reluctantly" be forced to wage war on Israel and all of us will be considered traitors.

  2. Once again the current headlines continue to line up with the word of God. I got goosebumps reading this post..

I had a question about what you said in your previous post about Egypt coming to God in the millenium (that prophecy still blows my mind a bit). How did you come to that conclusion? Not many people talk about it and I'd like to know more about it. Thank you.

  3. Egypt will come to the LORD en masse as shown in Isaiah 19:19-22, it says--
"On that day there will be an altar to the LORD in the center of the land of Egypt and a pillar to the LORD near her border. 20 It will be a sign and witness to the LORD of Hosts in the land of Egypt. When they cry out to the LORD because of their oppressors, He will send them a savior and leader, and he will rescue them. 21 The LORD will make Himself known to Egypt, and Egypt will know the LORD on that day. They will offer sacrifices and offerings; they will make vows to the LORD and fulfill them. 22 The LORD will strike Egypt, striking and healing. Then they will return to the LORD and He will hear their prayers and heal them."

Zechariah 12 prophesies the moment that Israel accepts the LORD en masse.

Assyria's second coming prophecy is in Isaiah 14: 24-25 and in Isaiah 19.

The three nations will be very friendly, " In that day there will be a highway from Egypt to Assyria, and the Assyrians will come into Egypt and the Egyptians in Assyria and the Egyptians will worship with the Assyrians. In that day Israel will be the third party with Egypt and Assyria, a blessing in the midst of the earth. whom the Lord of hosts has blessed, saying, "Blessed is Egypt My people, and Assyria the work of My hands, and Israel My inheritance." (Isaiah 19: 23-25).

But Egypt still has a small rebellion up her sleeve, and it seems that her refusal to keep the feast of Tabernacles in the Millennium, as commanded, causes a plague upon her as Zechariah 14:16-19 says. - "And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles. And it shall be, that whoso will not come up of all the families of the earth unto Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, even upon them shall be no rain. And if the family of Egypt go not up, and come not, that have no rain; there shall be the plague, wherewith the LORD will smite the heathen that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles. This shall be the punishment of Egypt, and the punishment of all nations that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles."

A person can go very deeply into the prophecies because there are even more besdes the ones I quoted from Isaiah and Zechariah. Haggai, Micah, Obadiah, and other books of the bible interweave prophesies that were future when the book was written but have come to pass, alongside prophesies that were future when the book was written but still have not come to pass and are in fact Second Coming prophesies. I'm not versed completely in them, being rather a novice and a newcomer to prophecy. So you can see, there is always a lot still to learn! Thank you for asking your question. it is a good one.

  4. How do you determine which prophecies have not been fulfilled? Archeologists keep discovering new artifacts which add to our knowledge of the past, yet even so, there is still much we do not know about the countries you mentioned, what they did and how they interacted with each other a couple thousand years ago. Is it possible that any of these prophesies may have already been fulfilled and we just haven't found the proof of that yet?

  5. Anonymous, it is a good question. It is really hard, for me anyway, ad it takes study to sift out the prophecies that have been fulfilled and the ones that have not. To make matters more complicated, some prophecies have a double fulfillment- meaning they were fulfilled in the past and the same words in the same verse of the bible will come true again in the future.

Archaeology is helpful for a confirmation to us though not necessary since the bible is really all the confiormation we need. It is a helpful discipline to be able to point to unbelievers and say that nothing ever unearthed is inconsistent with the bible.

But we look to the bible only for confirmation of fulfillment. We know that Ezekiel 38-39 has never been fulfilled because that particular alliance of nations has never attacked Israel.

The bible is 100% accurate on its internal consistency, so in studying any verse, and prophesies in particular, we look at the cross- references, we study commentaries, we look at history to pinpoint dates and timelines, and we pray. Because the Holy Spirit indwells us, He will lead us into truth. That is not to say that there won't be misinterpretations or misunderstandings, or that a superficial understanding won't later deepen to a more sophisticated knowledge, but that is what makes the bible so intriguing. It is a perfect document whose depths can never be plumbed- because it is infinite.

  6. Ezekiel 38-39.. that's the single most important prophecy to consider at this point. The recent actions of Russia, Iran, and Turkey are all inline with the prophecy. Well.. aside from the Rapture.

What is going on in the NAMESTAN (Near and Middle Eastern Countries), to me, heralds an imminent fulfillment of Ezekiel's War.

New quotes (as of last night) from Putin, the Iranian Ayatollah (Khamenei), and the 7th SecGen of NATO Kofi Annan are chilling, to say the least.

Read here if you would like > The Battle of Gog & Magog Draws Ever Closer

After this War (and God's subsequent retaliation in defense of Israel, as no one else will stand with Her) will come a massive spiritual awakening. I believe this is to be the spiritual awakening referenced by the prophets (Isaiah, Jeremiah, Zechariah, even Paul), as more than likely all the Muslim/Islamic holy sites will be destroyed, and there will be no doubt anywhere that it was indeed the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob who defended His chosen people.
