The Lord Jesus is the whetstone. It is HE who keeps us sharp. How? He is the Word!
"Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God." (Ephesians 6:17)

What am I trying to say? Read your bible. It keeps you sharp. If you don't whet your sword, it becomes dull.
