Israel ready to negotiate Palestinian State borders

Well, blow me down with a feather. Did Israel Prime Minister Netanyahu just blink? With the United Nations being whipped into a frenzy by the Palestinians' representative Abbas, and with a unilateral vote for Palestinian statehood looming which would be forced upon Israel, today Netanyau seemed to have ducked in the age-old game of chicken:

Israel Willing To Negotiate On Borders In Dramatic Policy Change
"In a dramatic policy shift, Israel's prime minister has agreed to negotiate the borders of a Palestinian state based on the cease-fire line that marks off the West Bank, a TV station reported Monday. Up to now, Benjamin Netanyahu has refused to spell out his plan for negotiating the border. A senior Israeli official would not confirm outright that the prime minister was now willing to adopt the cease-fire line as a starting point, but said Israel was willing to try new formulas to restart peace talks based on a proposal made by President Barack Obama. In a speech about the Middle East in May, Obama proposed negotiations based on the pre-1967 line with agreed swaps of territory between Israel and a Palestinian state. Netanyahu reacted angrily, insisting that Israel would not withdraw from all of the West Bank, though that was not what Obama proposed. Now Netanyahu is basically accepting that framework, according to Channel 2 TV, offering to trade Israeli territory on its side of the line for West Bank land where its main settlements are located."

Eventually, the land is divided...
"I will gather all nations and bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat. There I will enter into judgment against them concerning my inheritance, my people Israel, for they scattered my people among the nations and divided up my land". (Joel 3:2)

And the Gentiles will trample on it...
"But exclude the outer court; do not measure it, because it has been given to the Gentiles. They will trample on the holy city for 42 months." (Revelation 11:2)

And nations will be judged...
"will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you."" (Genesis 12:3)

It all hinges on Israel and Jerusalem! O Jerusalem!

  2. Elizabeth,
These proceedings are not negotiations, negotiations are when two parties enter into a process of their own free will of coming up with a plan, deal, solution that has the potential of a positive gain for both parties involved. This looks more like kangaroo court with some who have a plan to divide what God has made whole and to also destroy his plan and people. These forces have already been defeated. What God Himself has joined together let no man separate. Those purchased by the blood of the LAMB are to stand with him not just for him. This passage has something for us not just Peter.
    Matthew:
13 When Jesus came into the region of Caesarea Philippi, He asked His disciples, saying, “Who do men say that I, the Son of Man, am?”
14 So they said, “Some say John the Baptist, some Elijah, and others Jeremiah or one of the prophets.”
15 He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?”
16 Simon Peter answered and said, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”
17 Jesus answered and said to him, “Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in heaven. 18 And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it. 19 And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed[d] in heaven.”
20 Then He commanded His disciples that they should tell no one that He was Jesus the Christ.

Who do you say that Jesus is?

What are are you willing to allow or permit?

May it please God to hear the cry's of His people and establish them in truth, strength and power against those things that would come against them.

Thank you Elizabeth for this notice.
