What to do when you feel like life is squashing you down--

Feeling a little like this, lately?

How about this instead?

"But you, O Lord, are a shield about me, my glory, and the lifter of my head. I cried aloud to the Lord, and he answered me from his holy hill. Selah. I lay down and slept; I woke again, for the Lord sustained me. I will not be afraid of many thousands of people who have set themselves against me all around." (Psalm 3:3-6)

  2. Yes, yes and yes. I'm finally learning to cry out to Christ in EVERY instance of weakness. I need Him so much and I would be dead or dying without The Lord.

That verse is amazing and just perfect. Thanks and God bless.

  3. Excellent Elizabeth! Love God's word for only the LORD can encourage us and give us hope, joy and peace when we are crushed. His promise are true.. "A bruised reed you will not break and a smoldering candle you will not snuff out"- Isaiah 42:3.

The Lord is our Solid ROCK HE is whom we hope IN. Blessed be the Name of the Lord-"The name of the Lord is a strong tower. Proverbs 18:10 The name of the LORD is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe.

Thanks Elizabeth for encouraging us with God's holy precious more than gold refined by the fire 7 times WORD....
