    1. Hi Courtney,

      I loked my beach header for a long while adn then I found piclr free and was able to add overlays and cool things, so I played with that. But the cool things weighed down the photo and I noticed it was lsower loading, so I swapped thephoto for one I took last week of the sunrise. That was the cloud picture. (I added a cool, 'Hope" tot he top of it).

      I also enjoy pixabay, a free, public dimaon photo site. That was where I saw the hanging pocket watches. As soon as I saw the pocket watches it reminded me of "time" and the Rev verse. So I downloaded it and added the verse. I liked it so much that I put it in the header.

      That was a lack of self-control on my part. I should have waited, because I don't like changing the blog around too often. Once or twice a year should be it. But I have been doing more lately because I found "Free Vntage Graphics" from the Graphic Fairy (4000 vintage graphics), the Pixlr Free site to manipulate and edit pictures, & Pixabay, free public domain photos. I love photography

  2. I wanted to "chime" in and say that the picture with all the watches is really nice! I like it as your header. It suits the name of your blog. Although at least on my computer, it's a little hard to read the color of the font of the words "The End Time" against the picture.

  3. Also really like the watch photo--it's dramatic.

  4. Thanks Carolyn and Robin. Carolyn, I changed the font color, hopefully it is a little clearer now. That is the on downside to a busy header. Can't see the title

    1. The red is better. And it matches the details on a couple of the watches. :)

  5. I met a young friend for lunch today for her 19th b/day – and during the course of our enjoyable time together I, of course, plugged the rapture….. Oh my word!!! In return, I got the most PATHETIC to-be-pitied look from her you’ve ever seen!!! Now let me say she & her family are strong Christians, go to church all the time, highly involved, etc. etc. ~~ in fact it’d be safe to say it’s more or less “their life”. But for whatever reason are just totally ignorant on “signs” ~ either that, or perhaps, I’m wondering if they do not teach/preach a pre-trib rapture there?? They used to – unless they’ve changed.

    Oh how I would love to have one Blessed Hope lover in my life!!!! Seriously!! I don't have EVEN ONE!! If it weren't for specialized websites like this one & a handful of others I visit, I'd feel so alone in the world as far as watching for the rapture.

    I swear – here we have Franklin Graham, <-- regardless of how he's seen around here, Pastor J.D. Faraq & so many others saying we’re now in the last HOURS…… we know this ourselves anyway regardless of what the teachers say;
    and then you have people like my friend & her family who just cannot fathom the rapture being so soon!!! I could understand if they were catholics or unbelievers…. But an offshoot of John MacArthur’s church had surely ought to know better!!

    I full well realize that scoffing is all part of the signs of the times.... and the times of the signs.... even so, it's especially tough to take when coming from someone who matters so much to you. Sad!!
