During the Tribulation, plenty of weird things will happen. Earthquakes that are greater than ever before, comets, strange things coming upon the earth, demon locusts, Two Witnesses killed in public but then resurrect and fly to heaven...but weird things are happening now, in the time just prior to the end of the Church Age and before the beginning of The Tribulation. Natural disasters are striking with monthly regularity, Europe is collapsing, UFO's are appearing with boring regularity, and reversing tides tsunami, sinkholes, cracks, rumbles, growls, and generally weird earth noises are emitting from varied places. None of these the scientists can explain.
In the case of the noises, Windsor, Ontario has to be noise ground zero. I had written before and also here that Windsor Ontario has endured a rumbling kind of strange hum for months. Apparently it had subsided a bit lately, giving the residents some relief. However, it is now back, and with a vengeance.
Windsor rumble intensifies
"WINDSOR, Ont. -- It seemed as if the mysterious rumblings had subsided, according to Grete MaKenzie, but Sunday night through early Monday the low pitch humming came back with a vengeance."
“It was the loudest it’s ever been,” she said about the inexplicable rumblings she and thousands of Windsorites have reported hearing in the past eight months. The 61-year-old said the noise woke her at home about 5:30 a.m. Monday in the 3000 block of Sandwich Street. “Last night it was really bad,” said MaKenzie. “We went outside and it was almost like it was vibrating your eardrums.” She said the noise comes and goes, but has been going on far too long. “We need to identify it," she said. The Ministry of the Environment has ruled out industrial sources as the culprit, but Coun. Al Maghnieh wants to know why. “They’re not giving us answers,” he said. Maghnieh believes the study is not complete. He said he’s received thousands of calls — mostly concentrated in the Windsor West area by Brighton Beach. The ministry ruled out the Windsor Salt mine because the company only blasts once a day in the mid-afternoon. Most residents find the rumblings more prominent between 1-3 a.m. Zug Island, lake freighters and plane traffic from Detroit Metro Airport are also not suspected. The ministry could not be reached Monday for comment. Multiple Facebook groups have started to log times and locations of the mysterious humming, including The Windsor/Essex County Hum which has 523 members. The page was flooded with posts describing Monday’s occurrence as the loudest yet."

Weirder and weirder. Here is an equally weird thought. What if the noises are the overflow noises that we happen to catch are from a demonic struggle from the other side of the veil? That as the LORD'S hand lifts from this world in preparation for the final days of evil, that occasionally we are catching the otherworldly dimensional cacophony ready to bear down on us? I've often wondered, as Elisha prayed to God to lift the blinders from his servant's eyes, if also that the servant heard the chariots whirring and the fire rushing. (2 Kings 6:17). When Jesus chose to emit His heavenly glory to the inner circle of disciples on the Mount of Transfiguration (Matthew 17:1-8), did they hear anything as well? We know that the shepherds heard the angels on the hillside on the night of Jess birth. Did they hear anything the moments before they appeared through the veil separating our dimensions? I wonder.
But it looks like with all that is happening economically, culturally, spiritually and geo-politically, I may not have to wonder for long.

ReplyDeleteScientists rumble Earth's hum
"Scientists have solved the mystery of a global hum which has plagued them since it was discovered in 1998.
The constant drone at low frequencies, well below the range of human hearing, shows up in seismic measurements but cannot be explained by events such as earthquakes.
Junkee Rhie and Barbara Romanowicz from the University of California, Berkeley blame the hum on stormy oceans.
Writing in the journal Nature today, they suggest rough water sets the Earth's crust shaking, causing the hum. The sound is probably caused by the conversion of storm energy to oceanic waves, which interact with the shape of the ground at the bottom of the sea.
The hum is faint but represents the release of energy, equivalent to an earthquake of magnitude 5.75 to 6.0 It is made up notes in the frequency range of between two and seven millihertz: in musical terms about 16 octaves below middle C.
To pin down the hum's source, the researchers analysed seismic data from ground-monitoring stations in California and Japan from the 60 days in 2000 when there were no earthquakes to drown it out. They worked out the hum was tied to winter in each hemisphere, when ocean storms are most severe. "Our results show that the ocean plays a key role in the excitation of the Earth's hum," they write.
Other scientists blamed variations in atmospheric pressure, because they thought it might be causing a drumming on the Earth's surface. Others thought it was down to earthquakes deep in the Earth, which release energy without rupturing faults."
Thanks Anonymous. Interesting. It makes logical sense, but it does not explain why the hum is happening in the middle of a continent, why it comes and goes and also intensifies exponentially unrelated to storms, and why if this is the answer, scientists have not applied this science tot he situation yet. I hope they can figure it out soon. I thin there is nothing that wold drive me crazy more than a noise like that over long periods.
ReplyDeleteRomans 8:22 We know that the whole creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time.
ReplyDeleteIf I could hear it, I think it would drive me crazy, too.
Actually, last year I noticed a change in the sound of the wind. I have always enjoyed that sound - either the roaring of the wind through pines, spruce and fir trees, or the gentle rustling wind through aspen, elm or maple or through meadow and prairie grasses. Doesn't matter. Last year, however, it seemed as if the sound changed and became menacing instead of 'natural'. I've noticed it several times. It also seems that it is much windier than in the past.
It all may be due to a greater awareness on my part, not of the wind but of the spiritual changes that are happening in the earth itself and the people who live on the earth. God will use His creation during these last days. No, let me rephrase that! God IS using His creation during these last days to accomplish His good and perfect will.
In our modern times people so seldom take time to just be still and listen. There is so much noise all around us - cars, music that never ends from millions of radios, phones ringing/beeping/sounding, tv's blaring away, people's voices, construction, barking dogs and more. To sit in silence is almost unheard of, and people wonder what is wrong with you when you do.
Is it any wonder that God is using such means as these 'hums' and other strange noises to reach over the noise we make ourselves to drown Him out?
Why Windsor Ontario of all places?
ReplyDeleteI sincerely apologize to seekers and non-believers for the absurdity and nonsensical conclusions the authors have drawn here, particularly at the "weirder and weirder" section. I am a Christian, a minister, and a Bible student -- for more than three decades I've fought to present and defend the Gospel, by the grace of the Holy Spirit, by appealing to the claims of Christ and the harmony of the canon of Scripture. Christians are to love God with their whole minds, and that is not in evidence here. This is pure folly, it's embarrassing, and I beg you to continue your search for truth by availing yourself of more reasonable, rational and decent sources that can point you to the living, loving Son of God. ReplyDeleteWhat is you you find so distasteful about Elisha's servant seeing the spiritual realm? We all live in two places, on earth in the flesh, and in the spiritual realms. Do you discount the verses I'd shared about the activity behind the veil? The fact that spiritual warfare is real? That these noises exist? That the noises may have a spiritual component to them? You used no scriptures so...I have little clue as to where your embarrassment comes in.
ReplyDeleteYour latest blog talking frankly about sexual matters and using gross terminology is what I find embarrassing, and distasteful in the extreme.
But I will tell you that what *I* find weirder and weirder is that you're a woman minister. The bible forbids that. Do you not know, especially since you state you're a theologian and a bible student, you are disqualified from that office in the basis of gender? So maybe you DO discount the 2 Kings scripture because you also discount the II Timothy verses prohibiting you from doing what you are doing...

I sure don't know what has your dander up, but I would say with certainty that it is the warmth of the Gospel you find here pricking your reprobate mind that stoked your ire.
